MSN - Nurse Leader
Nurse Leader
• The MSN Nurse Leader program is designed to prepare nurses in various clinical settings to assume leadership roles within their chosen organization. The degree program has an innate focus on combining the complexities of clinical leadership, human, financial and material resource management, and the holistic preparation of the nurse at the MSN level.
• The program is being offered state-wide in a convenient on-line format in order to facilitate the educational needs of nurses who are either working in clinical settings as nurse managers, or who seek to transition into leadership roles in the near future.
• Through this program, we have sought to combine state of the art theoretical principles, immersion in evidence-based practice, and clinical experiences designed to facilitate the development of well-prepared nurse leaders.
• With the completion of one additional clinical practicum (Clinical Practicum III) the student will be eligible to sit for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Clinical Nurse Leader Exam ™.
• Applications for the MSN Nurse Leader program will be accepted throughout the year and must be received by July 1st for consideration and review for August admission
