Please note: You must send official transcripts to both the FSU Admissions Office and the College of Nursing. You will receive notice of your admission status approximately six (6) weeks after the deadline date. After you have been admitted to the College of Nursing, you will be sent information regarding ordering of uniforms, a health examination, immunizations, and personal background check.

FSU Students are not required to submit FSU transcripts to the College of Nursing as long as their FSU transcripts are updated. Current FSU students are encouraged to check campus.fsu.edu to ensure that all college level courses are listed on their FSU transcripts.

Application Deadlines: Application deadline for junior level transfer student admission is February 1st.

We receive many applications and admission is extremely competitive. All students are required to have a minimum overall  GPA of 3.0 and science prerequisite GPA of 3.0; however, the average GPA of accepted students is generally 3.7 or higher.

The College of Nursing Committee on Admissions, Progression, and Graduation may also look at the college algebra grade, the advanced science and math courses, and honors work in choosing the right candidates for admission into the program.
