Status of the Florida State University College of Nursing DNP Program:
The College of Nursing is seeking approval to start a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Fall Semester 2009. When approved, the DNP program will offer two specialty tracks: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Health Systems Leadership. The DNP degree program will replace the MSN family nurse practitioner track currently offered by the College of Nursing. A limited number of full-time students will be admitted in Spring 2009 as the final student cohort for the FNP masters degree (MSN) program and post-masters certificate program. Please check the CON website for updates on the DNP approval process.
