DAISY Award

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program established to honor the memory of J. Patrick Barnes. Through this program, nurses are recognized and honored for the compassionate care they provide no matter where they practice, in whatever role they serve, throughout their careers. Nominations for the 2024 awards are now closed. Nominations for the next cycle will open in the Summer.

DAISY Award Nomination Process

All DAISY Award nominations are submitted through Qualtrics. The link may be accessed more than once so that individuals may nominate more than one individual. 

DAISY Award Selection Process:

Award recipients will be selected and notified by the College of Nursing.
