The RN to MSN Program
The Florida State University College of Nursing now offers an innovative program for registered nurses seeking career mobility and additional education. The College of Nursing's RN to MSN program (Nurse Educator track) enables the nurse with leadership inclination and skills, clinical competency, a strong commitment to nursing, and academic ability, to earn the bachelor's and master's degree in nursing via an accelerated program of study.
The RN to MSN program (Nurse Educator track) is available in a fully online format throughout the state of Florida and can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. The registered nurse will need to meet designated requirements for entry into the program, successfully complete identified key components of baccalaureate content, successfully complete masters level core curriculum and successfully complete the Nurse Educator role specialty course. Enrollment is limited to nurses who have at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse and achieve satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

The Florida State University College of Nursing has been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing since 1950. It has been accredited by the National League for Nursing since the first class graduated in 1952. It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
