Oral History Project
As part of its Legacy Project, the College of Nursing is asking alumni to share memories of their experiences at FSU. Graduates, former faculty, and staff who wish to take part in this project will be interviewed by Dr. Robin Sellers, Director of the Reichelt Oral History Program at FSU. Interviewees will be asked to talk about their time on campus and in clinicals as well as their subsequent nursing careers. The tape recorded interviews and final transcript will become part of the College of Nursing Museum and Archives. Of course, participants will receive copies for their personal use as well.
Interviews will be conducted in person or by telephone, transcribed, processed, and archived according to professional guidlines established by the national Oral History Association. Interviewees have the right to review their transcripts to correct errors or fact or interpretation (and are encouraged to do so), refuse to discuss certain subjects, restrict access to their interview at any point in the process and have the interview destroyed.
