Advising

The college of Nursing promotes and encourages quality academic advising for all its students, and provides a wealth of advising resources. The Office of Student Services (104 Duxbury Hall) houses academic advisors available to help students with a wide variety of concerns ranging from assisting students developing their course schedules to helping with major changes and explaining policies of the University and the College.

Students are strongly encouraged to seek academic advising at least once a semester, preferably prior to the registration cycle for the upcoming term and/or the application deadline. Reviewing your Student Academic Support System (SASS) report and consulting the Nursing Academic Map before the meeting with an advisor is very helpful.

Three full-time advisors are available from 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-4:00 Monday through Friday to serve the three distinct categories of undergraduate students within the College of Nursing: Pre-Nursing, Traditional BSN, and RN to BSN. While appointments are preferred, walk-ins are welcome.

Please feel free to contact the advisor listed below in your area of study.
