BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Kung is a leader and a champion for nursing.  She is passionate about advocating for patients gaining improved access to high quality healthcare through influencing and shaping policy.  Her vision and mission are to advance the nursing profession through unity and to remove outdated, unnecessary practice barriers placed on advanced practice nurses.  

Dr. Kung is a family nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience.  She served as a co-chair for the Florida Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses, a past chair of the Havana Health and Wellness Center Board of Directors, and past president of the Tallahassee Area Council of Advanced Practice Nurses.  She was a founder and volunteer of a community health clinic that provided care for the underserved.  

Dr. Kung has published and presented in the following areas:  health policy, DNP, legal and risk management issues, social media, and clinical topics such as influenza vaccination, cluster headaches, and athletic physicals.
