Dr. Artur Queiroz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Florida State University for the Florida FIRST Health- Science brigade. He obtained two PhD's in Nursing Science and Public Health from Universidade de São Paulo and Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Respectively, Dr. Queiroz also completed his master’s in nursing science from the Ribeirao Preto College of Nursing at the Universidade de São Paulo, a WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research and Development. His research interests explores HIV prevention for Men who have sex with men, with a focus on how chemsex (sexualized substance use) affects HIV prevention and sexual health in the LGBTQ+ population.
