Delaney La Rosa, EdD, MSN Ed, RN, is an educator and academic leader whose work bridges clinical practice, digital innovation, and equity-centered curriculum design. With extensive experience in program evaluation and accreditation, Dr. La Rosa has helped shape transformative nursing education initiatives across diverse institutional contexts.

Most recently, Dr. La Rosa served as Associate Dean of Nursing and Steinbronn Endowed Professor at Northern Arizona University, where they led academic initiatives focused on inclusive teaching, integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare education, and faculty development for digital learning environments. Their teaching focus includes healthcare informatics, leadership, and AI in healthcare, and they continue to mentor educators and clinicians navigating rapid technological change.

Nationally recognized as a researcher and speaker on the ethical application of AI in nursing and education, Dr. La Rosa’s scholarship explores how emerging technologies can be aligned with human-centered, accessible approaches to teaching and care. Their recent work focuses on AI literacy for nurses, professional development for faculty, and the design of equitable, adaptive learning models. They have authored and contributed to publications, texts, and national frameworks that help nursing programs navigate the responsible adoption of AI tools in academic and clinical practice.

Dr. La Rosa has played a key role in numerous CCNE and state board accreditation reviews, aligning curricula with national standards, including the AACN Essentials and NLN competencies. Their expertise includes outcomes-based assessment, curriculum mapping, and quality improvement processes that prepare institutions for accreditation and beyond.
