Stacy Wheeler, DNP, RN, has worked in the acute care setting throughout her more than 35 years in nursing. The primary focus of her career has been emergency nursing. She is passionate about improving patient outcomes and providing the best possible nursing care. Dr. Wheeler’s research interests include the readability of patient information and, most recently, improving door-to-CT scan time for trauma patients.
When not working, Dr. Wheeler enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, reading, and playing with her two rescue dogs, Lucy and Oskar.
