Nole Nurse Advancement Council
Through philanthropy and advocacy, the Nole Nurse Advancement Council strengthens the College of Nursing’s foundation. Council members serve as ambassadors for our mission, fostering relationships and inspiring investment in scholarships, programs and innovations that empower Nole Nurses to lead with excellence and compassion.

Chief Nursing Advisory Council
The Chief Nursing Advisory Council serves as a strategic advisory body to the dean and comprises senior nursing executives from diverse health care organizations committed to helping further the college’s mission and goals. The council provides insight, expertise and industry perspective to inform the college’s academic, research and clinical initiatives, strengthening the college’s ability to prepare future nursing leaders, advance evidence-based practice and address workforce challenges. As strategic partners, they advocate for collaboration between the school, the broader nursing and health care industry and our community.

Distinguished Graduate Award
Our Distinguished Graduate Awards serve to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of College of Nursing alumni for their outstanding contributions to patients’ health care through nursing care, research and their demonstration of the ethics and values of the nursing profession. The Nole Nurse Alumni Council selects award recipients.
DAISY Award
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program established to honor the memory of J. Patrick Barnes. Through this program, nurses are recognized and honored for the compassionate care they provide no matter where they practice, in whatever role they serve, throughout their careers.
