The FSU College of Nursing and College of Medicine have received a five-year, $1.6 million NIH training grant to prepare postdoctoral nurse scientists for careers in digital health research. The program, called NURTURe, will focus on developing and testing AI and digital health tools to improve care for underserved and rural communities.

The FSU College of Nursing has launched its first micro-credential series that integrates artificial intelligence and nursing care. The program, Nursing Essentials of Responsible AI, was developed in partnership with the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) and provides nurses with a comprehensive framework for the ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence in clinical practice. As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes healthcare delivery, there is an urgent need to prepare the nursing workforce to engage with these technologies safely and effectively.
