Application Dates
Fall Semester start: Application opens December 1st and closes June 1st

In order to apply for admission, you must complete the following steps in order as listed below. Failure to follow these steps will result in your application not being considered for admission:
Step 1. Apply to the College of Nursing.
Step 2. Email to grad-info@nursing.fsu.edu or mail to address below, required documents to the College of Nursing on or before the deadline:
- Copy of unofficial or official graduate transcripts (MSN and DNP if applicable) showing completion of Advanced Patho, Advanced Health Assessment, and Pharmacology all across the Lifespan. DO NOT SEND TO THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO
-Copy of course syllabi (Adv. Pathophysiology, Adv. Pharmacology & Adv. Health Assessment)
- Copy of current unencumbered and unrestricted APRN license
- Copy of current CV/Resume
- Proof of clinical hours completed for MSN or DNP program (Send summary of clinical hours from Typhon or contact the institution that awarded the MSN/DNP and have them email a letter to the College of Nursing stating the total of clinical hours completed for the program)
*ALL application materials must be received by the College of Nursing on or before the application deadline. Documents submitted after the deadline will result in your application not being considered for admission. The Admissions Committee will review all applications and will send decision notification via email a few weeks after the published deadline.
Step 3. IF accepted by the College of Nursing you will be required to apply to Florida State University as a Non-Degree Student between July 1st and August 1st.
DO NOT complete the non-degree student application until you have been accepted by the College of Nursing. Official transcripts from ALL colleges/universities attended, undergraduate and graduate, must be submitted to the Office of Admission as part of the non-degree student application. College of Nursing will not forward any transcripts received.
