The Nursing Learning Community (NLC) is designed to foster a community of freshmen interested in nursing. These students will work with their peers, nursing faculty, and the College of Nursing to learn the skills necessary to become effective nursing students and build a solid foundation to complete a nursing degree!

Any first-year student with a Fall-Spring housing contract may apply. Applicants declaring an intent to major in nursing (those classified as “Not Formally Admitted (NFA)-Nursing”) receive priority. Connect with like-minded students and faculty support as soon as you step foot on the FSU campus. Research has shown that living-learning communities show higher percentages of persistence and graduation rates than non-LLC peers.  NLC Info Sheet
