Starting this fall semester, we are pleased to announce that we are welcoming new research faculty members to the College of Nursing. Our new additions to our research faculty include Dr. Insu Paek, Dr. Henna Budhwani, and Dr. Casey Xavier Hall. Each of these professionals have expertise in their related fields of study and are excited to join Florida State University’s College of Nursing. 

As one of the top universities in the nation, we take pride in our teaching faculty here at Florida State. Join us in welcoming two new teaching faculty members to the College of Nursing, Dr. Erik Salsgiver and Dr. Donna Johnson-Byrd.

The Florida State University College of Nursing is pleased to announce that Dr. Eugenia Millender, associate professor at the College of Nursing, and Co-Founder & Co-Director for the Center of Population Sciences for Health Equity, received a prestigious invitation to speak with The White House on health equity and access in Florida!

In many ways, the last two years have been tumultuous for everyone. With the onset of the COVID pandemic and heightened awareness of racial injustice all around us, such transition, chaos, and blatant hatred has caused many of us to take a deeper look at ourselves and the systems to which  disproportionate outcomes are bred. As we march forward, we can continue with the confidence that every moment in time is but a season—a time to heal, a time to break down, and a time to build up. April, National Minority health Month, is a catalyst for continued strides in the long march to health equity.
